Guest
Hi, Does anyone know of any DVD clip which clearly demonstrates good effective language interactions between practitioner and child/children? Thanks for your help Sunshine
HappyMaz
Have you seen the ICAN video with the male childminder? You can order their DVDs from their website... I'm not sure which one it is though. There's Chatter Matters and Learning to Talk. It seems that you can order one copy free (funded by the BT Better World campaign) or subsequent copies for £6. I'm fairly sure we got ours from out Local Authority though - might be worth asking your EYAT or development officer. Maz

Guest
If anyone wants to order more copies of the ICAN resources mentioned above and you can find a friend, relative or parent at the setting who works for BT they can bulk order for you as BT sponsors the resources. It is part of the company's corporate responsibility. We order for new starters each year and dish them out to parents too.
