I m currently working abroad, and have been for the past year, I work in an International school in Nursery, ages 3-4, most with English as a second language.

I am interested to hear from other internation teachers or those who teach in areas where there is a high percent of second language learners to find out if my planning format is taking enough account of esl children.

Look forward to hearing your replies :o

It would be great to know a little more about your set up. For example do you have bilingual staff to support your EAL children, or are you expected to manage yourself? What does you planning currently look like? How many children and staff altogether. I work almost exclusively with children who come to to nursery with no English at all, but I do have very good language support and our planning gives them time to do specific activities with their language groups. We do not have every language represented on our staff (next year we have 9 langauge in the nursery). But I do work in UK.
