Guest Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Hi Is anyone celebrating the National Children`s Centre week in September - if so do you have any ideas as to how this will be done by your centre. Just looking for some ideas to ponder over. Thanks
mundia Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Thanks Kiverpool for bringing that to our attention. You can find out more about this week here
Guest Wolfie Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Yes, we're definitely going to celebrate it! At the moment, we're considering having an open day and inviting all our partners to come and have a stand at the Centre, celebrating all the services and groups that we provide together. Planning of the event is still in the very early stages!
Guest Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I've just emailed our local CC to ask if anything is going on that we can join in with! Thanks for the info/link
Guest Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 We're holding a Garden Party (fingers crossed for decent weather) to invite people in to show them what we have to offer them. and how we work in conjunction with many other serveices. Even though we have been established for several years now we still have people in the town who say they have never heard of us or if they have, many still have the wrong impression of Children's Centres and think we are here just to help "poor people".
