Guest
Hi, has anyone got any ideas what i could use to cover P2.2 range 2c as it's the only one i haven't covered.p2.2 plan settling-in arrangements with parents. 2c reads who are brought to the setting by someone other than a parent or family member. Thanks Cathy
Guest
i found this range easy as all my children are fetched in by school escorts can you do a reflective account about a child who has either been brought to school by an escort , neighbour, friend if not what about writing about what would happen if a child was brought in by someone other than the parent. how would you pass on important information, for me if the child is with an escort a sealed letter is given to them to pass to the parent or a we phone the parents depending on the situation. hope this helps lynda
Beau
Cathy, If you don't actually have any children who are brought by someone else and don't have any recent experience of it, then you'll just have to write about what you would do if the circumstance arose. You'll find that throughout the elements this will arise and providing you can show that you know what you would do, then that's ok.

Sue R
Hi Cathy, Sorry I wasn't around for your other query, but you were well taken care of! As Carol says, if something arises you haven't first hand experience of it is perfectly OK to write about what you would do - after all, you are showing you know what to do in a variety of circumstances! Don't forget, you can always cross-reference, you may have adequate or some usable evidence elsewhere, either in this unit or another already completed one. Think about all possible barriers to communication and how you would overcome them, and about the many different types of things you may need to let parents know about. Some well chosen examples should fit nicely. Good luck! Sue
