The opportunity

 

The Pre-school Learning Alliance is a leading early years Charity, also the largest voluntary sector provider of childcare services. We have an exciting opportunity in our Woodlands Nursery based in Southampton. The nursery is part of a group of full daycare nurseries opening across England to provide childcare and support for young children and their families and works in partnership with the Southampton City Council and the DCSF.

Senior Nursery Worker

£13,738 - £15,750 p.a. inclusive Local Weighting

 

Ref: NNWOO5-3

All senior nursery workers will need a minimum level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent and will supervise nursery staff working in their specific area. Candidates will also require specific experience as follows:

• Foundation Stage

With post-qualification experience of early education and childcare, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a foundation stage curriculum for children of three to five years of age. You will need a thorough understanding of child development.

 

All posts are 40 hours/52 weeks, unless otherwise stated. CV’s will not be considered.
