Guest Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 When would you say a child has achieved this point - i think i am looking to deeply into it e.g. waiting for children to ask their friends for help, for example- holding the sellotape while they cut it. At present the children always ask an adult if they need some help- do you think this is enough to say they are covering this Development matters point.
Guest Wolfie Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I would definitely accept evidence of a child seeking support/guidance from an adult as evidence for this particular statement.
Guest Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Thanks for the replies, it makes makes me feel more confident in my judgement of the D/M, when others have the same opinion. A lot of the statements drive me crazy- they are so woolly.
