blackcat
Hi I was wondering if anyone has any good guided writing resources they can recommend or plans that have worked really well. I am struggling just to keep it going in a very busy literacy timetable.

blackcat
I have been using oxford reading tree books to do guided writing but need some inspiration or just a good old change. Suppose I am wondering what other folks use as a guide.
Guest
Hi, I am also always on the lookout for resources! You could do worse than look at what Pie Corbet offers as part of his story telling sessions. Also look on the Ros Wilson website - Andrell Education, for some excellent ideas and guidance. Hope this helps! Jenni
Marion
I use the Bumper book of storytelling into writing and I'm organising a Big Learning for Little People training day (with Andrell consultant) in September ... we are considering opening this to other schools. Guest
We do our guided writing linking it in with our book that we've been using in the week or based on the topic whenever possible so we don't really use any specific resources. Mind you we are having an inset led by Pie Corbett in May so I am looking forward to that.
Guest
We like to make our own book of the text we have been reading that week, some times I just do a front cover, other times a picture on each page. Speech bubble are a hit, especially if its a character with a very specific thing to say e.g one of the little pigs.
