Lcp Files

At our school we have LCP files for art which the staff use to plan their lessons. They are all linked to the N.C. and contain lesson objectives and lots of good ideas. There is a LCP Foundation Stage Resource File with lots of topic ideas e.g. Gingerbread Man and how to approach it through the 6 areas of learning. What I would like to know is - Does anybody use this Foundation File and is it useful to planning?

www.LCP.co.uk if you would like a look or to download some pages.

Gwen I use the foundation resourse file for most of the time. I find it easy and straightforward. Each of us are responsible for observing and recording a learning goal each week. At the end of term we each go through the observation sheets to mark them off on each child's profile. As you can see all the planning is done for you.I ask each helper to read the notes on the theme so they get the gist of it first.

Have a look on www.LCP.co.uk and then go to Early Years Section

After much searching I have managed to find a short discussion of this from earlier this year. You will find it here Gwen.
