hali Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 ones i liked and used over and over again were: Developing Early Years Practice Jane Devereux Advanced Early Years Care and Education: For Levels 4 and 5 by Iain MacLeod-Brudenell Early Years Management in Practice: A Handbook for Early Years by Maureen Daly Understanding Child Development Linking Theory and Practice by Jennie Lindon Doing Your Early Years Research Project: A Step by Step Guide by Guy Roberts-Holmes Understanding Children by Peter Smith am sure Maz could come up with a much more comprehensive list
Guest Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I agree with Hali's selection plus a few more that helped me: Becoming emotionally intelligent Catherine Corrie How children learn Practical Preschool Early childhood studies Taylor & Woods Early childhood Tina Bruce Theories of childhood Mooney Angles on child psychology Matt Jarvis Good Luck
Guest Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I also agree with what has been suggested....also I went on to Amazon and read through other peoples suggested study books which I found really useful. I also found a few books on ebay when I did mine.
