The topic is 'castles' for KS1, does anyone have any ideas or experience with this topic or know of any good websites, books etc??? Thanks, its my first KS1 experience so wish me luck!!!! You could design your own shields, and focus on 3D shapes to build a castle with recycled boxes, make up stories about being stuck in the tower (or dungeon!), and build a drawbridge with construction kits.
