Guest
Hi All, Can anyone help me to understand what is meant by 'profile points' in regards to the EYFS. Is it something which I need to include on my continuous provisions? A confused Jellytots
catma
It refers to the statutory EY Foundation Stage Profile assessment at the end of FS - every child will be assessed against the 117 scale points in the academic year they turn 5, so unless you have children turning 5 this academic year it won't make any difference to your provision and practice and if you are planning your provision to support children on their way to the ELGs then you are already doing what you need to do!!! Guest
Thankyou so much for clearing that up! I work in a pre-school so that explains why I was puzzled! I thought I was having a blonde moment! Phew! Thanks!! Jellytots
