Does anyone know the words to Ten scary monsters came to school today?

I can't remember them I put it down to my memory and age !

I can only remember bits but someone will come along eventually. It is out of one of those spiral bound books, which I think are A&C Black.

 

I know it begins,

"10 scary monsters came to school today

'Boo' went the teacher and 1 ran away"

 

(Da di dee di da

something about the bell)

 

"and they all ran out to play

In the playground in the playground."

 

9 scary monsters etc.

We do five hairy monsters but same idea.

 

5 hairy monsters went to school one day

Boo said the teacher and one ran away.

Bong went the school bell

And the children went to play

With 4 hairy monsters at school today.

That's the one Linda. Actually I thought it was hairy monsters but then decided it must be scary monsters and my age was playing tricks on me .
