Printer Help And Advice

Hello all,

I am looking into buying a printer for our pre-school. We use a laptop at the moment because it is easier to store/pack away in our limited storage space. I will still be doing most of the paperwork at home on my pc so the one at pre-school will be mainly used to print out photo's as we go along - thus making it easier for us to stick them in the children's learning journey books straight away. Anyway - my main question is -can anyone recommend a printer that uses relatively cheap printer ink? My printer at home is very good but the ink costs around £12-£15! I used to have a printer that used ink that I could buy from Tesco's for about £3.99 which was fab.

Any help would be really great.

Cath

I've used this company, depending on the volume of photos you want to print you may want to consider a laser printer which uses toner cartridges rather than ink cartridges.

This company have good deals for education establishments (including preschools)

I use this website: www.cartridgepeople.com for my ink cartridges - they seem to be pretty cheap might be worth a look before you buy a printer?
