cathrich Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Hello all, I am looking into buying a printer for our pre-school. We use a laptop at the moment because it is easier to store/pack away in our limited storage space. I will still be doing most of the paperwork at home on my pc so the one at pre-school will be mainly used to print out photo's as we go along - thus making it easier for us to stick them in the children's learning journey books straight away. Anyway - my main question is -can anyone recommend a printer that uses relatively cheap printer ink? My printer at home is very good but the ink costs around £12-£15! I used to have a printer that used ink that I could buy from Tesco's for about £3.99 which was fab. Any help would be really great. Cath
Guest Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I've used this company, depending on the volume of photos you want to print you may want to consider a laser printer which uses toner cartridges rather than ink cartridges. This company have good deals for education establishments (including preschools) INKJETS & TONERS Peggy
Guest Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I use this website: www.cartridgepeople.com for my ink cartridges - they seem to be pretty cheap might be worth a look before you buy a printer? Ems.
