Guest Posted July 28, 2008 Share Posted July 28, 2008 Hi all Im awaiting a telephone call this afternoon from the University through which I gained EYPS to do an interview so they can put together a case study to advertise the status to prospective candidates. Its quite exciting, dreading getting the photo taken tom though!!!!!! Just wondered if anyone else had been asked to do a similar thing? Guest Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 Yes, my local Surestart team asked me to do an interview recently to promote EYPS for publication in one of the local papers (Dorset). It lasted for about 15 minutes, was pretty informal, and the kind of questions that were asked were 'What are the challenges that you faced doing the full pathway?' 'Have you had a lot of support from your setting?' 'Have you enjoyed the course?' Well done on achieving EYPS. I had my summative assessment recently and am still awaiting the results! It was pretty similar and very informal, wanted to know previous experience?, why EYPS?, my experience of EYPS? has it changed my practice? etc etc Once written they are sending it to me so I can make any changes I feel necessary. Photo being taken this afternoon!!! I think there is a few people from my course been asked to do it so it will be good to read everyone's different experiences.
