Guest Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Hi there, I have a new employee staring at the pre-school soon and feel my terms and condtions of employment might be a bit out of date since the last new recruit was 5 years ago!! Is there any one out there who is either happy to share their current paperwork with me or sign post me on to the right place? Thank you x
Guest Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Hi Goose - we have just purchased up to date info re-employment from PLA around £30.00. Dot
Guest Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Hi there, we have that pack too. Also free advice can be downloaded from ACAS and from Directgov. Good luck, it's really daunting when you haven't done it for a while, but I'm sure you'll get suddenly into the swing of it.
Guest JPH Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Have a look in the Devon Early Years document bank (sorry, can't make link - google search zero14plus document bank) - you'll find lots of information and staff employment, with sample contracts, etc. A really useful site.

Guest Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Also I think (it is on my other half's computer) it is business link have interactive contract writing tools. Basically you answer the questions and it provides you with a contract at the end. I know you had to register to use it but that was free and it did save time typing the whole thing out.
