Hi I have an interview for the position of family group worker has anyone any idea of the sort of questions I may be asked. Any help or advice would be great

it is in a children's centre, yes have all the relevant job description etc just want to be prepared as I really want to get the job.

I will study the above and try to work out what they may ask. I Hate the question about weaknesses and strengths as you don't want to come across as lacking in anything or been to boastful

Ooops, sorry, I should have noticed where you'd posted and then I would have known it was a Children's Centre! Is a family group worker the same as a family support worker? I would expect there to be some questions about best practice in relation to engaging with parents and families, in particular the "most excluded"/hard to reach families - have you got a copy of the Surestart Children's Centre Guidance - you can download it here:

There is some very useful reading there that might be good preparation!
