I'm a RCM and have information from Dudley Safeguarding Children Board. They have full procedures on http://safeguardingchidren.dudley.gov.uk/

Perhaps your loacl SCB has something similar?

Whereabouts are you tinkerbell? Your policy definitely needs to be in line with your local safeguarding children board guidelines - in fact, the board has probably got someone employed to help settings develop their policies and procedures, I know ours has. I would give them a ring!
