Guest
Hi everyone, many thanks for all your kind words of advice. I'm feeling a little better....got some much needed sunshine and adult company yesterday withd 2 close friends( & work colleagues) who listened and listened. I did a pregnancy test(!) because my period is now over 2 months late which was negative....didn't expect it to be any different because I've been sterilised for almost 7 years.Am going to get myself checked out at the docs......my mum reckons it could be the start of the menopause...i'm 42. Phew, now if I found out I was pregnant after 7 years of 'safety' I'd be very stressed Mind you I have taken on a new family of four aged 48 yrs , and the youngest will be 16 when I'm 60 yrs Good to hear you've got the docs appointment, I started menopause at around 43 yrs, doc told me I was too young, but she was wrong. Hopefully your doc will help, plus all the other advice, IT'S NOW TIME TO PUT YOURSELF AS NUMERO ONE, for a while, take care. Peggy

Guest
Me again, been to docs...very helpful and understanding male(!) doc who suggests I'm going through the menopause. Sending me off to have blood tests, although he did say these weren't that 100 % but he always getting me checked for numerous other things. He said I looked quite pale so need to get that checked......I thought I looked quite tanned myself! Also booked me in for my smear that is a long time over due. Glad I went along and I'm feeling quite positive this morning. Thanks for your advice and listening. x
