I also took on the role of senco and pe. I have been told that the inspectors specialism is early years and special needs. she has booked an appointment of 45m with me for rec and senco on mon. I have started working full time this week.

I am really scared i won't be able to sell myself or answer all the questions.............HELP PLEASE

Good luck Ger.

45 mins doesnt sound particularly long to do either of those things.

You should have more idea of the focus and what the inspector is looking for on Friday evening when your head receives the briefing report. Make sure you are aware of the SEF and what it says about both those areas and if necessary make some time to talk to your head or deputy to clarify things.

Inspections at the moment focus on data and the SEF. Transition to year 1 may be an issue in the summer term and how the profile data is used. Assessment and tracking may also be relevant but it will largely be based on validating the SEF.

Try and get some rest and relaxation this weekend!

Good luck! I'm sure you will be great. Hope you get a chance to relax at some point this weekend. Just remember that 45 minutes is an opportunity to really sell yourself and the fantastic job you are doing. I would have loved 45 minutes to talk to an inspector when they were in last!
