belle06 Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Hi can anyone tell me or has anyone got a template of a transition book that is used for children to take over to school. I manage three private day care provisions that feed in to a few different schools so a template that would be suitable for most receptions would be great.
Guest Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 We didn't use a transition book, just sent a transition report, you can find a blank example in the resource library. The children had a scrapbook which showed progress throughout their time with us, evidenced through examples of work, observation notes and photo's, however these belonged to and were kept by the children. Parents were encouraged to share these with the reception teacher if they wished. Peggy
