HappyMaz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 hi everyone, i work at a private day nursery and we have a child attending who cant walk, he has join gone upstairs into the two year olds room. we reallu need to get some kind of stair lift. does anyone know where we can get funding for this Frankly I have no idea - but I'd start with your Area Senco (or whatever s/he is called in your LA). They are bound to know where to start looking! Good luck. Maz
Annie-pops Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Does your education authority/ council have an Inclusion worker? I only ask because when I was on a course last week I sat with a lovely lady who goes round to different settings and helps with such issues ( including accessing funds if poss) this was in Cheshire but not inconceivable that other areas will have similar set up??
Guest Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 your setting should have a SENCO. she should be able to contact your local support teacher/Area SENCO and request funding.
