stedeford Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 we have a member of staff who is pregnant and we need to have a policy for this and a risk assessment. I have found the latter in resoucses but does anyone have a policy?
Beau Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Do you need to have a specific policy on top of the risk assessment document? Could this perhaps be included in your health and safety policy?
belle06 Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 we have a maternity polciy & Risk assessment that I can look at if no on else has one to post
rk2932 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Hi belle, I have got one staff who is pregnant and trying to write a maternity policy pls can you help me with this. I need to write asap Rita
Guest Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I too wonder wy you would need a seperate policy. Pregnancy and maternity could be covered in H&S, and employment policies. Peggy
Guest Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 we've got a risk assessment i will post it on here tomorrow
Guest Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I was asked for our policy last week! I haven't got it covered under any thing else so i'll need to write one up.
Guest Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I too have a member of staff who is pregnant and have always thought it was covered under the normal policies. However, in light of the new standards on risk assessments I think I need to update these to cover pregnancy and link our policies to it. I would appreciate a look at someones policy/risk assessment on this.
