Woke me up in south east london - rattling shelves and movemnt through the floor. Considered earthquake as it's happened before when there was one in kent. Went back to sleep and then thought I'ld dreamt the whole thing.

I felt it here in North Wales. The rumbling noise must've woken me just before 1am and then I felt the bed swaying. I was still half asleep and didn't know where I was and thought either one of my children or husband was moving the bed. I then remembered I was sleeping with my poorly 2yr old and thought he was having a fit causing the bed to move and then once I'd woken up a bit I realised it was actually a tremor. Thankfully I've experienced 2 or 3 in North Wales and a couple in Greece so found it exciting rather than scary.

I went to where hubby was fast asleep and asked him if he'd felt the earthquake...he hadn't !! My three young children were also still sleeping soundly, the electric was still on and no books or ornament etc had fallen down so I went back to bed seriously doubting I'd felt anything and thought I'd been dreaming or going mad. :o

I remember a tremor we had back in the 80's and my parents thought it was me pulling the wardrobe down! xD
