It basically just goes through the routine of the day with explanations, together with a few repeated bits from prospectus that we need to reinforce. Mine included; Welcome Who's who - staff with contact details where appropriatte Settling In Routine Curriculum explanation Keyworker system Snack bar - including thankfully recieving any donations Fees Clothing ( will get paint & glue on it) Explanation of the role of Ofsted / QA scheme Parents as partners and what this means in reality. Sickness procedure closure re: snow etc How to complain A questionairre asking if handbook is useful and any other info they would like to have had ( don't normally get many responses though) which tells me all info given is enough for now.
