Numeracy In Reception

Hi its me again, just wondering what schemes you use for numeracy in reception if any. School thinking about abacus by ruth merten - what do you think. Thanks again ger

If you want a scheme, then I like Abacus.

It does ensure coverage but it is quite structured.

I would encourage you to buy the FS1 & 2 version rather than Reception, as this is more play based and across the day sort of format.

However, you can access the plans at hamiltontrust.org.uk and via myprimary.co.uk so why not download and have a try?
