New Year's Day

Have your children ever made a short New Year's poem for their parents? The idea is for them to memorise it and give it to their parent's on New Year's Day. I would greatly appreciate your help .

I found a poem dedicated for something else and I have adapted it a bit. It didn't say who the author is. What do you think?

 

 

I made this special poem because I wanted you to know,

 

That I'm grateful for your love and helping me to grow.

 

For your patient understanding and for always being there,

 

To tell me I can do it and to show me that you care!

 

So I wish you all the best in this new coming year,

 

That you might enjoy all the things that are so dear.
