Guest
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone is getting involved with national sure start month in June, and was also wondering what your plans are. We are planning to hold a teddy bears picnic on one of the Sundays (thought it would be nice to include our parents who work 5 days a week) We will also be having fancy dress parties, a health week, a benefits advisor in to talk to parents, a pyjama party, and among other things, Jaffa (the sure start mascot) will be making an appearance aka one of nursery nurses! As we are a new neighbourhood nursery now 2 months old, we are hoping that alongside spreading the sure start message to parents and carers, this will enhance our existence and get us more children! Can't wait
Helen
Thanks for sharing that with us, hope you all have a great time. Were you a nursery before it turned NN, or is it a completely new setting?
Beau
Hi Cal and welcome. Sounds like you've got a busy month ahead of you. I'm interested to hear more about the pyjama party. (I don't wear anything in bed so not sure what I'd do. )
