Guest Posted October 18, 2007 Share Posted October 18, 2007 We have been using targets books in school during the last 2 years with targets for numeracy, literacy and general. These were written with the children and sent home for them to share with parents. As I have taught a mixed R/1 class for the last 2 years I have used them for Year 1 but only started using them for Reception in the 3rd term. The children have liked having targets but I would like to have a more appropriate target book for Reception to start this term with a few targets that can be literacy or numeracy if appropriate but can also be social, behavioural etc. Possibly something with teddies or balloons on instead of just writing.
