Bringing The Class Together

Hi everyone. my class are coming together full time for the first time on thurs. has anybody got and good ideas or activities to help the children bond with each other as a class?

How about spinning a spider's web using a big ball of wool? Sit the children in a circle and get one child to hold one end of the ball of wool and thow the ball to someone across the circle...and so on - they might need a bit of help from an adult if you've got a spare one! You end up with an individual web created by the group of children - and how about having a big plastic fly or insect to throw into the web once it's finished and be caught - my children always like that!
