HappyMaz Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Fantastic - some really good examples of what the medical and social models of disability look like in real life. I loved the explanations of Winnie the Witch - how deep is that? Maz
Guest Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 (edited) Heh, I actually know one of the kids in one of the photos. Not from my school but from another forum I go on. It's quite a few years ago that was taken, but weird seeing a familiar face! All that equipment is daily life for my class! Edit, the next photo is also a familiar face from the same forum! stedeford Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Thanks LJW what a great site. Loved the Winnie the Witch explanation. I signed up and printed out the 10 guiding principals to put up on staff notice board. The best information I have seen about disability.
Sue R Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 LJW, a really great site! I've signed up, too! Sue
