We have already transformed the role play area into a cafe. Does anyone have any good activities/ideas for this topic? Any help would be appreciated. Sue R Posted April 26, 2004 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Hello Joanne, welcome aboard! We did a similar topic when I was working in a pre-school. We had various scenarios - cafe, bakers shop, even a biscuit 'production line'! One of the most popular was when we set up a 'MacDonalds' - the local outlet was really helpful and gave us STACKS of resources, including huge posters and cardboard 'cut-outs', various packaging and lots of hats etc. The roleplay developed until just about everything was somehow connected.
