Event details
It not every year we get a full moon during the Christmas period. This year its on Christmas eve. Should help Santa on his way then!
Also known as the 'cold' 'long night' or 'oak' moon, it is the most spectacular of the year if we have a clear evening (I wont go into the 'sciency' bit), and since Mar is very close to earth at this time, you might even catch Mars, very bright reddish glow at the same time.
The moon will rise around 4ishpm, so plenty of time to pop your heads behind the curtains whilst wrapping (or opening!!) pressies and things.
