Hello we are doing a production of the Pied Piper and my Reception/Year 1 children are the cats. Does anyone have any ideas for easy to make masks. Ideally I would like ones that don't cover their faces but I have left it a bit late to be fussy :o .

Thanks

how about a head band, add ears, wouldn't need tying round the head like a full mask. Use face paint for cats eyes?? or even for whiskers. You could have a nose bit coming down the fron of the head band? Trying to visualise this but it might work??

How about using paper plates- we use them for masls as they tend to be the right size and are quite robust- you could cut them so they don't cover the whole face or decorate them and then attach them to headbands so they sit on the top of the head.
