Dear all,

My staff are a bit lost when it comes to including equality and diversity in their plans, they are not too sure about multi- cultural activities/plans. Any help will be most grateful, or sample plans. :o

Thanks

Hi Toro,

I would be more concerned with promoting equality and celebrating diversity amongst the children within your setting. How do your staff enable all of the children access the activities equally. Do they need to offer some children extra support? How do they show that they value different children's likes, dislikes, home routines, celebrations, etc and parents needs and preferences?

I'm sure that they promote equality and diversity all the time - it's just a case of recognising it.
