Bespoke Frameworks: Summative Assessment Screen
We’ve added a new tracking screen which is compatible with your bespoke frameworks. The new Summative Assessment screen allows you to:
- View and monitor children’s attainment against the framework for each child in each period
- Override any assessments you think need updating, and add new assessments quickly
- Lock each period for each child
- Export the data to a CSV or PDF
There’s more information on this new bespoke framework tracking screen here. You can access the screen yourself on Tapestry from Tracking > Bespoke Frameworks.
The Tapestry Survey
Get your voice heard – Tapestry 2024 survey
Our annual survey is now live and is for everyone working in the early years and primary education sectors. It's quick to complete and we’d love to hear from you on topics such as the expanded offer for two-year-olds, how educators are using AI, and proposed Labour early years and education policies.
As in previous years, we use the findings in our articles, to support our public relations and marketing, and to help shape the development of Tapestry and the Foundation Stage Forum.
The survey should take 5-8 minutes to complete. To take part, please follow this link.
A new Beginner’s Guide
The free document ‘A Beginner’s Guide to Growing Things in Educational Settings’ has been written by Let’s Grow to help nurseries, schools and childminders consider opportunities to grow more plants with their children. For more information and to download the document, visit this page.
Championing Wellbeing: A Toolkit
The Championing Wellbeing Toolkit[OG6] , created by Kate Moxley to guide and support you in building your own bank of practical ideas to promote compassion resilience, is now available in an interactive format.
A New Article to Support your CPD
This month Richard Waite, early years practitioner and technology specialist, has written an article which shares his experience in supporting e-safety learning with children in the EYFS
