Whilst we don’t have an exact time frame for when this will be released, we’d love to hear your thoughts about this feature. If you do have any feedback, please contact us by emailing customer.service@eyfs.info. We hope you are as excited about this feature as we are.

What to do at the end of the year on your Tapestry account

As you approach the end of the academic year, we’ve prepared some resources to help you with your end of year process on Tapestry.

Firstly, you can check out our article that we’ve written about all the different things you might want to consider regarding your account, including how to download copies of the children’s learning journals. You can find this article on the forum here.

As well as this we are also running several end of year webinars; one for EYFS, one for KS1 and KS2 and finally a general admin one. To find out more information about our webinars which are free to attend, and to sign up to them, you just need to go to our Webinars section on the forum.

Making sure your account details are up-to-date

Whilst you are completing your end of year process on Tapestry, this would also be a good time to check that your Tapestry account details are up-to-date. Making sure they are correct ensures we are able to offer the best, and quickest possible customer service if you need to contact us regarding your account.

To help you with this, we have created a checklist which you can use as a guide. You can find this here and it also includes links to any tutorials that you might want to use to help you update any details you need to.

Tapestry training sessions

Alongside the tutorials and regular webinars we run, it is also possible to book bespoke Tapestry training sessions, in which we can talk you through any areas you are having problems with or would like to know more about. We run these sessions remotely and charge £30 +VAT for each half hour session.

Due to the high volume of support requests we receive during September, we will not be running any training sessions between the 23rd August - 9th October. If you would like to book a session before this or for the next academic year, after the 9th, please contact us with your preferred availability at tapestry.support@eyfs.info.

Feature Focus

As a new aspect of our monthly newsletters, we'd like to focus on one specific feature on Tapestry to hopefully draw anyone's attention to it who isn't already aware, and to also help those that are gain a better understanding of it.

In this month's newsletter we are focusing on the Care Diary function. This was designed for settings with younger children, to help them keep track of, and share with relatives, things like meals eaten, bottle feeds and naps. As well as this we also have a Comments tool available on the Care Diary which you can use to send/receive messages to/from relatives and an accident form section which includes the ability to add digital signatures!

To learn how to enable the Care Diary on your account, make Care Diary entries and use the Comments tool, you can check out our tutorials for all these things in the 'Care Diary' section of our main tutorials page. As well as this you could watch the recording of our most recent webinar we ran all about the Care Diary here
