A Fantastic Opportunity has arisen for Senior Nursery Nurse/EYP within an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Term Time Nursery setting in Romford.

The setting is looking for an experience Senior Nursery Nurse who will be able to step up to a deputy management position when managers are not in the nursery.


As an EYP, You will lead on all planning and support with training any students who are working at the nursery.

This means you must be extremely fluent on the EYFS and have used it regularly in you most recent role.

You will be experienced in staff management as you will be required to step up when the deputy or manager are not on site. This may include opening and closing the nursery so your communication skills must be of a very high calibre.

This role would be well suited to an EYP who is looking to further their career.

Some of your responsibilities as an Senior Nursery Nurse and EYP will include:

• To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
• To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
• To work in partnership with the parents
• To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
• To be able and willing to assume Deputy manager responsibilities when required.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• Qualified EYPS
• Have a wealth of experience of working with children
• Working knowledge of the EYFS
• Experience in management of staff
