Candidates require a degree in Childcare or Early Years Education and knowledge of legislative requirements within a childcare environment and the Early Years Foundation Stage.

To ensure the efficient running of the Nursery. Candidates require a degree in Childcare or Early Years Education and knowledge of legislative requirements within a childcare environment and the Early Years Foundation stage. Also essential are at least 2 years post qualification childcare experience and an understanding of children's individual needs, including babies, appropriate to their stage and level of development.

In the last HMI/Ofsted Inspection Southfields Community College was described as 'Outstanding' in all areas.
