We are a charity committee run preschool and our hours are 9.00am-3.00pm we offer additional hours which is an 8.30 start and a 3.30 finish. Do these additional hours have to be included in the 15/30 hours funding or can we charge extra for this? We were advised that we can charge extra as it is a way of getting extra income for the preschool and also we need to cover the cost of staffing, electricity and heating bills but its not clear if we can do this. Any advice greatly appreciated.
