This is to let you know that the new assessment frameworks we've been working on went live this morning. In particular you can tag observations for:

• Key Stage 1
• P Scales
• ECaT
• Aistear (for our Irish users)

These aren't enabled by default, so you'll need to go into "Options: Assessments" and check the relevant boxes to start making assessments.

I'll just add a couple of things about the changes here:

To help keep the page uncluttered, the P Scale assessments won't be visible until you add a child with SEN to a page.

The KS1 framework is the curriculum effective from September 2014.

We'll be adding to the new functionality in the coming months, for example we're just testing the addition of P Scales to the snapshots tab.
