Guest
Can anyone tell me what report-writing format they use, in the Foundation Stage? Also any report card comments. I’m finding it hard to find a suitable positive comment about one little girl in particular, who has made very little progress in her Social and Emotional development this term. Thanks Gill
Susan
Im using the eprofile which uses statements from the profile for reporting! You may need to pick out some of the crucial aspects of the social and emotional scales and say the she is finding it difficult to, or struggling to etc. Parents need to be aware in these situations of what their child cant do. narnia
it's important to stress what she's successful at, and then say that she is still progressing towards...this target etc
luluj
I use the e-profile statements as guidance but adapt them to make them more personalised and 'parent friendly.' luluj
Guest
I use Target tracker which gives me stepping stones achieved and targets and then I personalise it with my own comments. I tend to write when he/she can .............. he will find social life easiertle down more or something like that. It also means that, if I am really stuck, I can miss a section out as it would have the stepping stones achieved and targets already there. Hope this helps, Ruthanne
