Hi,

I really need some help. We are currently changing our topics from

Transport & celebrations, weather and Seasons, Minibeasts & growing to

 

Ourselves & Celebrations, Fairy tales & Nursery Rhymes, minibeasts & growing.

I would like some examples of an overview plan

of fairy tales and nursery rhymes, can anyone help me?

We do Nursery rhymes... did it this year with a mixed year R/1 class.

Have attached planing for your info. Purple text is extension for year 1s.

I do a pacer rather than a traditional medium term plan medium_term_plan.doc. My weekly plans are much more detailed and if you see a week/weeks that you're interested in then I'm happy to post them for you.

I am unable to display the planning i had completed for our topic last term which was nursery rhymes as all our paper work is filed away after every topic. But i can let you know that if you are looking for some new ideas and work sheets which link into your topics, if you go to www.scholastics.co.uk and click on Nursery education magazine link you will be able to download ideas etc from their past magazines, nursery rhymes and fairy tales are part of the many downloads. Hope this is of use to you.
