Guest
Does anyone know of any ICT activities that fit in with 'The Little Red Hen' or baking bread? It's the dreaded 'weekly-ICT-slot-with-29-Reception-children'. Just excuse me whilst I run screaming from the room . Thank you! Susan
Have you got a beebot or similar? Could you use it to move on a path to sequence the story? Keyboard skills, write a sentence about the story? Copy from something they have written previously? Finding the letters to make the title? Cnanging the text size and colour? Why does it have to be related? Guest
Hi What about taking digital photos of children making sandwich/making bread and then adding labels and captions when on screen/whiteboard. You could also look at ordering and create a pictorial set of instructions. Or what about children drawing/painting a picture of their favourite part of the story on PC and having a go at writing 'red hen' or other cvc words 'pig' 'dog' 'cat' .
