Guest Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Does anyone have a data protection policy that could share? It would be much appreciated?
Guest Wolfie Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 (edited) Hi! I hope I've attached these correctly...we shall see! Basically, I sent the Data Protection letter out to every new parent with a Fair Processing Letter attached. Hope these help - it isn't a policy as such but might help you write your own? Ooops, will try again! Data_protection_act_letter.doc Fair_processing_notice.doc Edited March 13, 2007 by Wolfie
Guest Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Those are really useful Wolfie, could you put a copy of them in the resource section, crediting you, for future reference. Thanks. Peggy
Guest Wolfie Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Oooooer, you're really testing my IT skills there but I'll try my best!
Guest Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Oh so much more readible than the one we currently use. Thanks for that.
Guest Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Thank you for sharing - saves so much work reinventing the wheel!
Guest Andy Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Hi, I have recently done something similar to Wolfie, after info came through from School Improvement Service. All settings in our area have been told they must issue this to new parent's and existing parent's whose children are on profile. We have just given out to all parents and added to our welcome pack. Feel free to use, Andy Data_Protection_Letter_Draft.doc
