Guest Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 Hi, We work as an intergrated unit where children have access to continuous provision inside and outside throughtout the day and also access Focus adult-led activities. However, we do not currently direct groups of children to independent activities but i feel that the more able reception are definately ready for this. How do you manage this in a free flow situation? (We have a 60 place YR and 39 p/t YN in 3 interconnected rooms plus outside) Do people who operate in this way direct all children (both YR and YN), just YR or just those children they feel are ready?
