Guest Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Is anyone making much use of the internet in their setting. (As practitioners and from the point of view of the children). Do children go on the internet much? What do they go on? What about you? How serious would it be if you lost your internet connection? I'm thinking Nursery settings particularly - (from the perspective of someone considering the best sort of training to provide). Many thanks in advance. Dugh
Marion Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 We use the internet every day with the children. Firm favourites are Poisson rouge http://www.poissonrouge.com/ and cbeebies http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/ and seussville http://www.seussville.com/ which are stored in favourites and accessible by the children
Guest Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks Marion. I've always been a massive fan of poisson rouge but hadn't seen seussville which looks amazing!
Guest Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Just wondering Dugh if you've seen this Scottish site, it is really good for different ICT topics, I've posted the e-mail topic section for you to look at as an example, they have many more topics too via the homepage http://www.ltscotland.org.uk/earlyyears/im...tcm4-378829.doc
Guest Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks, Kermit, I searched the lt scotland site for ICT and found loads of useful stuff. Appreciate the suggestion.
