Guest Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 (edited) I loved reading this thread and I'm balanced somewhere in the middle. Fluffy ducks-great The cut out paper shapes for painting on and paintings to accurate for under 5's are both a problem in my setting but hey they make the walls look great for parents ???? I introduced 'a reason for writing' area. I didn't want to use formal worksheets and 'free marking' with a variety of tools/papers/notebooks etc is constant provision. This is somewhere in between mark making/role play for example teddy on a table with a speech bubble "what should I buy for a picnic when I go shopping?" leafets from supermarkets, price list, shopping lists.I can't find in my many files the teddy support material but heres the pancake ones done in a similair way. The pancake over writing cards are laminated and there are white board markers Edited August 2, 2007 by Guest
