i am doing the bear and the Picnic Lunch next week in Literacy to link with our KS1/FS picnic on friday, any ideas? thought about writign picnic invitations and lists? any other ideas would be welcome!

Shopping lists, instructions how to make sandwiches (spoken/written), maps to the picnic area (directions using BeeBot/Roamer/real people), incorporate going through swishy swashy grass etc like in Bear Hunt. Maths link - favourite food sorting/graphs, counting whether there are enough cups/sandwiches for everyone. Make patterned picnic rugs. Spell/think of CVC words to rhyme with rug - make up a rhyme to sing at the picnic. Learn 'If you go down to the woods today to sing. Hope my ramblings make some sort of sense- it's been a long week!
