Susan
I like abacus Foundation stage 1 and 2. Lots of lovely ideas! Some of the beam publications are good-- Mini Maths 1 and 2 and they have a file resource which looks excellent but I havent invested!
apple
We use LCP for maths and dip in and out of Kingscourt for extra ideas both v good. The LCP does seperate the lessons into 5 sessions but we take 3-4 ideas and make it our own. ALso there introduction is often different fromt he main objective which is not reccommended now so we make sure the objective is linked to both the intro and the main activity. LCP also offers a good plenary and simplification for the less able and extension for the more able. Hope this helps
Marion
I tend to dip in and out of lots of different things. We have LCP which I like and the New Scholastic 100 Maths Lessons (lots of practical things plus CDrom) We bought in Abacus years ago and I like the games but dont use the workbooks, we also have the Ginn scheme and big books (big books can be useful dont use the rest)cant remember the other 2 schemes we have in school (dont use them any more) I quite like the BEAM materials as lots of practical activities in these too.
